Introduction to R [via Zoom]

The statistical software package R is becoming more and more the standard of statistical analysis tool. If you would like to learn the basics of this language, this is your workshop! In this workshop an experienced instructor will introduce you to the world of the R computing language.
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to
- understand the R user interface
- apply basic concepts in R (working with vectors, matrices and data frames)
- understand the use of packages
- apply piping (of the tidyverse package)
Please have the latest version of R (http://cran.utstat.utoronto.ca/) and RStudio (https://rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/#download) installed.
To participate, please register below. Shortly before the event starts, you will receive a Zoom link for the workshop.
The workshop will take about 2 hours with a short break in-between. The instructor is Tim Elrick.
