Let’s turn our ‘stay at home’ situation in advancing your skills in data science at the example of the data of our time. This workshop is for anyone with a basic knowledge of R to learn how to get data from the internet, clean your data, analyse and visualize it. In the end you will be able to create similar output as shown on our Covid-19 page: https://gic.geog.mcgill.ca/covid-19/
To participate, please register below. Shortly before the event starts, you will receive a Zoom link for the workshop.
Please have the latest version of R and RStudio installed, as well as the tidyverse package.
The workshop will take about 2 hours with a short break in-between. The instructor is Tim Elrick.
