To wrap up the GIC Summer Workshop Series, we will focus on the skills you need to find your own GIS data. This will include searching the web, searching the libraries, and searching government data portals. Data validation and common issues will be discussed. There will be time at the end of the (slightly shorter) presentation to consult on your independent projects and troubleshoot problems.

Costs: McGill students: free of charge, McGill other: $ 50, external: $ 100 (priority given to McGill community)

The workshop will take about 1.5 hours with a 15 minutes break. The instructor is Jeffery Sauer.
