If you would like to get into working with R for your data science projects, this is your workshop! In this workshop an experienced instructor will introduce you to the world of the R computing language. Topics covered will include what R offers, understanding the R user interface, basic R concepts and using the modern way of tidyverse package functions. As this is an introductory workshop there will be extra time to ask questions and work through the basic steps. Participants may bring their laptop so that they can install R on their personal computers.
Costs: McGill students: free of charge, McGill other: $ 50, external: $ 100 (priority given to McGill community)
The workshop will take about 2.5 hours with a 10 minutes break. The instructor is Tim Elrick.
