 Edition 2012 program

The GIC, in collaboration with the Department of Geography, is organizing GIS day at McGill for 2012. We would like to invite the McGill community to participate in activities where GIS and remote sensing will be discovered, explained … and celebrated ! The GIC team will also take this occasion to host the official opening of this new resource at McGill.

  • MUGS invites you to follow them in the discovery of GIS through a series of activity related to GIS. Meet up at the GIC front desk.
  • Projects of current and past students will be displayed via posters and other media around the GIC.

  • Welcoming and Opening speech by Dr.Tim Moore, Chair of the Geography Department, and Dr. Pablo Arroyo, Director of the GIC.
  • Come join us to visit our transformed facilities, to explore the innovative possibilities, and to celebrate the opening of the new Geographic Information Centre. This event is followed by a wine and cheese.
