Introduction to R I (basics)

Do you want to get your hands on the up and coming stats software? Do you want to start preparing yourself for the job market with highly demanded quantitative skills? This is your workshop!   In this workshop, you will learn what R is and how to use it. We will cover variable types and data structures, and how to work efficiently by using RStudio and R projects and how to write nice code. At the end of this workshop, you will be able to run first basic statistics on a dataset.

Costs? McGill students: free of charge, McGill other: $ 50, external: $ 100 (priority given to McGill community)

The workshop will take about 3 hours with a small break. The instructor is Dr. Tim Elrick.
